Beavers Retreat is run as a family glamping business, run by Iwan, set on a small 60 acre working cattle and sheep farm near Tenby, Pembrokeshire in Wales. The Retreat is dog friendly (bell tents only) and offers a couple of family sized bell tents and a Geodome with Hot Tub which are located in an extremely quiet and secluded field that lays flat at the bottom of the farm hill. We are extremely friendly and will ensure you have clean and comfy accommodation for your stay. Each bell tent is supplied with beds, sheets, basic cooking equipment, a BBQ, table and chairs, lighting and added accessories such as board games. Fires are also accepted on the retreat.

Our five pre-erected 5 sq metre bell tents offers a relaxed atmosphere that you can enjoy with your friends and family. Each bell tent is kitted out with

All lighting is battery powered and there is no electric available at the site, therefore allowing you to ‘getaway’ from hectic everyday life.
AMENITIES
The bell tents are in a field with access to drinking water, a hot gas shower and full flushing toilet. Don’t forget your torch and wellies as there is very little light pollution in this part of Pembrokeshire.
Please note, paper, kindling and logs for the fire pit can be bought on site.

GEODOMES with Hot Tub Sleeps up to 4 people
Our three luxury geodomes are the perfect place to get away from it all for a special romantic break. The domes have an open window at the front to ensure lighting is perfect and you can watch the wildlife from the comfort of the dome. An indoor wood burning stove will add to the cosy atmosphere, alongside two comfortable seats to accompany a table. Lighting is provided in the form of candles and LED/solar lights.
The domes are set in their very own field, where you will find a sheltered kitchen area, and the best of all…. A wood fired hot tub! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay, and we supply towels for the showers. The dome also has a fire bowl, as well as a picnic table and gas BBQ.

We supply enough kiln dried logs for one nights worth of hot tub, indoor stove use. If you require more we can provide this for a small cost.
Don’t forget your torch and possibly wellies for the short walk to the toilet.

Our two 5 square metre Luna Tents are new for 2019. The Luna bell tent has a highly distinctive dome shape that maximises internal space and creates more room inside the unit for families and couples alike.

Although each bell tent is supplied with basic cooking equipment, there is no other cooking facilities on site.There is tap water available in the field, although bringing a few big bottles is handy to avoid refilling all the time.

AROUND BEAVERS RETREAT
BEACHES AND COASTAL PATHS – Pembrokeshire is Britain’s only coastal national park, and boasts over 52 spectacular beaches with more Blue Flag and Seaside awards than any other county in the whole of the UK
CASTLES – Pembrokeshire is renowned for its sheer amount of spectacular castles available for visiting. Manorbier, Carew (below) and Pembroke Castle are all within 5 miles from the retreat
ACTIVITIES – Pembrokeshire national park has been protected and preserved since 1952 and therefore provides a perfect location for many activities such as surfing, kayaking, rock climbing, kite surfing, diving, sailing or coasteering. Heatherton Activity Park is a free admission activity park and is simply pay as you play. The park has many activities such as paint balling, go-karting, archery, shooting, golf, mini golf and many more. It is only 4 miles from Beavers retreat.
