With Ready Camp glamping, there’s no need to fill the car with camping paraphernalia and ‘just in cases’. We provide a ready-prepped safari-style tent that’s packed to the rafters with creature comforts. We’re talking real beds and bedrooms, an eating area, mini kitchen, a comfy sofa… even a corkscrew!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING
All you need to bring is bedding, towels, tea towels, blankets if you wish for chilly nights, clothing and food.

FACILITIES
Barnard Castle is a fabulous site for families with full on site facilities including its own mini playground, parent and child room, hot showers, toilets, laundry facilities and on site holiday manager. There’s also a visiting fish and chip van too which is very much recommended!

LOCAL AREA
Barnard Castle glamping campsite is located on the north eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales ready for you to enjoy England’s beautiful rugged landscapes. Spend the day blowing any cobwebs away up on the Dales before returning to your comfortable haven with a hot cup of tea and a hearty meal. The Yorkshire Dales National Park puts you within easy reach of many outdoor activities such as biking and pony trekking. There is also the attractions of Teesdale on your doorstep which falls within the North Pennines AONB. Visit High Force which is England’s highest waterfall or the French Chateau at Bowes Museum along with the area’ s endless castles and fortresses such as Bolton Castle and perhaps The Dales Countryside Museum and Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre.
