Eskdale Campsite is located on the western side of the Lake District and offers its own secluded glamping village. Set amongst the trees, the 10 camping pods provide the ideal base to explore the stunning scenery of the Eskdale and Wasdale valleys. We also offer our camping barn sleeping eight.

THE PODS
The pods are perfect for a romantic escape for two, a family glamping weekend, or an outdoor adventure with friends. After a day spent exploring the pods invite you to kick back and relax whilst guaranteeing a cosy nights sleep, whatever the weather.

Made from locally sourced timber and insulated with sheep’s wool the pods blend sympathetically with the Lakeland backdrop and offer the opportunity for comfortable glamping with your friends and family, even during the winter months.

THE CAMPING BARN
In addition to its ten wooden camping pods, Eskdale offers another glamping option – a snug and cosy camping barn. This traditional Lakeland barn will sleep up to eight making it perfect for glamping groups of family, friends, walkers or cyclists who, after a busy day exploring the area may want to spend time relaxing in comfortable surroundings. Or how about a festive glamping break? You certainly won’t have to worry about the weather in our camping barn!

Huge double wooden doors open up to stunning views of the Lake District and there is an outdoor barbecue area so you can fully appreciate the wonderful scenery while enjoying an alfresco feast. As with our camping pod glampers, the campsite’s shower block, drying room, and laundry are at your disposal.
