Glamping Devon at Ready Camp. Sandy beaches and rugged clifftop trails make this most definitely a family glamping adventure. Nestled away on a quiet site near Barbrook are your glamping digs. Ready Camp tents offer a great balance between contemporary and outdoor living. Each tent is complete with full beds, a lounge and dining area, a mini kitchen and your own terrace which is perfectly lit for night time relaxation. You will find all you need whether you choose to stay for a short break or a longer glamping holiday. All you have to bring is your own bedding and essentials to get your holiday started! There is also a shower and washing facilities on this site too.
What to see & do…
Glamping in North Devon is a dream. Step out of your canvas-wrapped haven and soak up the heavenly sight of rolling hillsides and distant sea views. Pull on your hiking boots and follow the South West Coast Path and take in some of the most dramatic scenery. Or, if you fancy it, jump on your bike and go for a ride along the scenic Tarka Trail. The trail is traffic-free and great for families.
The Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway is the highlight of any trip to Lynton. These towns sit at opposite ends of a steep cliff and were connected in 1890 by a water-powered funicular Cliff Railway…and it’s still going! Enjoy the gorgeous North Devon views as you take the rumbling 10-minute ride down to Lynmouth.
Once in historic Lynmouth, visit the Glen Lyn Gorge. It’s a fantastic family attraction with waterfalls and fun hydropower activities for kids. Also, why not check out the ‘hidden gem’, Watersmeet House, with its thundering river gorge, wooded walks and fantastic cafe.
With Ready Camp, there’s no need to fill the car with camping paraphernalia and ‘just in cases’.Their ready-prepped safari-style tent are packed to the rafters with creature comforts. You only need to pack your bedding & sense of adventure… (plus a cheeky towel or two and a warm fluffy blanket for nights under the canvas!)
