Mains Farm Wigwams near Stirling in Scotland will soon be home to Scotland’s most unusual place to stay with not only wigwams but our Sea King helicopter which has been transformed into glamping accommodation and featured on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.

Our wonderful Wigwam, Caravan and Camping Park is situated on the outskirts of Thornhill with a panoramic view over the Carse of Stirling to the Fintry Hills. We lie on the gateway to the New Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park which is a world famous area of lochs, glens and hills with breathtaking scenic beauty. There’s a wealth of activities on the doorstep for families, cyclists and walkers. We are also under an hours driver from Edinburgh and Glasgow with all their attractions.

ORIGINAL FAMILY WIGWAMS – Sleeps 4 to 5 adults
We have 15 original wigwams that are heated, double glazed and insulated. They also include

• Outside there is a fire pit and picnic bench

LUX FAMILY WIGWAMS – Sleeping family of 4
We have 6 Lux Wigwams and they are the ultimate in eco camping cabins. This Wigwam offers that little bit of luxury and independence. Based on our original family wigwam, the open plan wigwam deluxe is light and airy with Velux roof lights and opening window and also include

• Comfortable foam mattresses with washable and waterproof liners
• Double bed, sofa bed and table and chairs
• Mini kitchen including fridge and microwave with space saving sink
• Double glazed patio doors
• External light
• Internal lights x 2
• Double sockets x 2
• Double glazing and full insulation to roof, floor and walls
• Dimplex panel heater

COWBOY DINING AREA
We have a large Cowboy dining area for our Wigwam Guests. Our Wigwam Kitchen has cookers, hobs and ovens. There are also microwaves, toasters and kettles. The cupboards are full of pots and pans. Please bring your own cups, crockery and cutlery

There is a play park and large playing field near the wigwams

We have transformed a Sea King helicopter into a stunning luxury overnight accommodation complete with mini kitchen and shower room.

Our helicopter takes glamping to a higher level, with fantastic original features, a quirky bed in the tail and a spectacular cockpit seating area with panoramic views over the Carse of Stirling. We think it’s every child’s (and big kid’s) dream holiday home.
