Nestled in the Loch Lomond and Trossach’s National Park, Milarrochy Bay Ready Camp campsite puts you right on the shore of Loch Lomond. Enjoy spectacular views of a glassy still loch, by the tree shaded shoreline especially in the early morning sun, it really is soul stirring stuff. After a busy day exploring the local lochs and firths enjoy your comfortable bed and all the little luxuries of our contemporary glamping tents have to offer. A perfect way to enjoy Scotland’s great outdoors. The location lends itself to plenty of watersports, fishing and photography along with rambling, cycling and many other outdoorsy adventures. The glamping campsites great base gives you the opportunity to explore the National Park and follow part of the West Highlands Way footpath. The amazing 96 mile walking trail starts at Milngavie and rambles just past our doorstep along the shores of Loch Lomond through Glen Falloch and up Glencoe, the Devil’s Staircase ending at Gordon Square in Fort William.
With Ready Camp, there’s no need to fill the car with camping paraphernalia and ‘just in cases’. We provide a ready-prepped safari-style tent that’s packed to the rafters with creature comforts. We’re talking real beds and bedrooms, a dining area, mini kitchen, a comfy sofa… even a corkscrew!

All you need to bring is bedding, towels, tea towels, blankets if you wish for chilly nights, clothing and food.

The site has showers, toilets, family washroom, laundry facilities, a children’s play area and an on-site holiday manager.
LOCAL AREA
Milarrochy Bay is perfect for walkers and the great outdoors. Take a crack at Ben Lomond if you fancy a challenge. It’s the highest mountain in the area and can be reached by the West Highlands Way trail north from the glamping site in the direction of Rowardennan. There are a number of guided hikes available too. Balloch Castle and Country Park is where you can take a number of organised hikes which start at the Loch Lomond Shores Visitor Centre. Here you can hire also a canoe, kayak and pedal boat or perhaps a leisurely boat trip or a short cruise to visit the Loch’s islands.
A distillery tour is an absolute must with Glengoyne Distillery in the West Highlands Way at Blairquhosh. The Distillery is open to the public for tours and tastings. Other distilleries nearby include Auchentoshan Distillery by Dalmuir in Clydebank and Deanston Distillery near Doune which is a former cotton mill.
