One of the many reasons that people choose Nutley Edge Cottages in East Sussex has a wonderful choice of glamping and self-catering accommodation. Our luxurious camping, The Willows consists of 2 Bell Tents. The 4 metre tents with additional porch, are both furnished to provide you with a cosy, slightly luxurious glamping experience. Situated in our lower paddock the glamping area is fenced off for your privacy with views facing over to our ancient gill wood and wildlife pond.

The tents have their own seating area around a fire pit with use of a tripod grill for that all important wild cooking experience. There is also a shared kitchen area kitted out with camping stoves and all cooking/dining utensils you will need. A solar powered compostable toilet is in situ in the glamping area and for convenience has a mobile phone docking unit for those of you that cannot bear to go with a full ‘digital detox.’

Our shower block is situated at the top of the site just a 5 minute stroll away , incorporating two individual shower units, toilets and hand basins.

Holidays for people with learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions
At Nutley Edge, we run holidays for people with learning disabilities or Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). These are our specialist Activity Breaks and are run by Outward, a London-based charity that has been successfully supporting people with learning disabilities and ASC for over forty years.

The Activity Breaks give you the chance to get some country air, make friends and try new activities, to get away from the daily routine and have a proper break. Each Activity Break is run by on-site activity leaders and Outward support staff, and can accommodate people with a range of needs. Our guests have been getting involved in sports, art, music, visiting local attractions, photography, nature trails, baking, pampering, tie-dye and many other countryside pursuits.

Choose from twelve bright, spacious, open-plan cottages that sleep up to four people, plus the 17th century Old Farmhouse that sleeps up to eight. Two of our cottages are fully wheelchair-accessible. You will enjoy wonderful views over the rolling hills and surrounding forest.

Cars are unable to reach the glamping area as the car park is at the top of the site but don’t worry you will be assigned your very own wheelbarrow to carry your gear down to your tent.
Please note there is no mains electricity in the glamping area.
