Set on the Quantock Hills of Somerset, Secret Valley offers the very best UK glamping holidays in Somerset. Guests love the tranquil glamping setting of Secret Valley, and we work hard to provide a new type of staycation for you to enjoy. Set on an organic farm, vineyard and outdoor activity centre it’s a real chance to escape the pace and practicalities of our busy lives. Stay in our wigwams, lotus tent, yurts, tipi, lodges or shepherds hut. We are a 5 star rated glamping countryside retreat and also a perfect location for celebrations including family occasions or a gathering of friends.

QUANTOCK AND VINEYARD WIGWAMS

Our various sized Wigwams are located in paddocks with stunning views of the rolling hills. Your glamping cabin is fully insulated, double glazed, lockable and has metered electricity cards with power, light and heat. Our small wigwams sleep up to 4 (maximum 3 adults) and large wigwams sleep up to 5 (4 adults).

Each wigwam includes

Foam mattresses
Kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge with a small freezer compartment
Outside, there is a picnic table, barbecue and fire pit

Please bring your own bed linen or sleeping bags, pillows, towels, cutlery and crockery as well as a torch!

WIGWAMS WITH HOT TUB

The Hill View Wigwam Paddock includes three wigwams with wood fired hot tub. These wigwams are adult only and great for couples as well as groups as they can sleep up to 4. Inside they include the same facilities as our standard wigwams above.

LODGES

Our three lodges are situated in an idyllic location boasting panoramic views of the farm. A short stroll to the fishing lake and close to all amenities.

Great for families, the lodges sleep up to 5 people on comfortable sleeping platforms with mattresses. These can also be turned into seating during the day. They contain everything you need to be super comfortable during your stay: electric heaters to keep you warm and cosy, sockets to charge necessities, a kettle, lighting, fridge and microwave.

Outside; each lodge has its own picnic table to enjoy alfresco dinners cooked on your own bbq come fire pit which will provide warmth to sit and stargaze into the night.

Parking is 20 yards from the lodges. Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in this accommodation.

SHEPHERDS HUTS

Our two Shepherds Huts are located in our private area on the edge of the vineyard. The huts are perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. On its original iron chassis, the huts are made of wood and have old-fashioned wheels and steps. The hut sleeps two adults and includes

Double bed
Microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge
Wood-burning stove
Outside there is a barbecue and fire pit and a picnic table

There is a short stroll from the shower, toilet, kitchen and dining facilities.

LOTUS BELLE TENT

We offer a large 5 metre Lotus Belle tent sleeping up to four adults, with four single futons. There is no electricity supply in the lotus belle tent, but the communal kitchen and dining area are fully equipped with all utilities. Each tent of course has its own barbecue/fire pit and picnic table outside. The toilets and shower facilities are a just short stroll away.
Guests need to bring crockery, bedding and a torch.

YURTS

Our Yurt retreat is set in a hidden corner of the paddock. It’s a tranquil spot close to a beautiful oak tree and surrounded by natural wildlife. The yurts offer comfy glamping accommodation in virtually all weather conditions. There is no electricity supply in the yurts, but the communal kitchen and dining area are fully equipped with all the usual utilities. Each yurt has its own barbecue/fire pit and picnic table outside. There is a toilet in the yurt paddock. The main showers and toilet block are a 5 minute walk away. Our two small yurts sleep 2 adults and our medium yurt sleeps 4.

Guests need to bring crockery, bedding and a torch.

THE BIG YURT FOR GROUPS

Our Big Yurt is an amazing 32ft and sleeps up to twenty people equipped with ground sheet and coir matting. You will need to bring your sleeping bags!
