Thornfield Camping Cabins in Cumbria and on the edge of the Lake District is set in a picturesque landscape and rural setting between the border city of Carlisle and Caldbeck. Due to the close proximity of the northern fells and lakes the site is ideal for those who wish to explore Caldbeck, Keswick, Ambleside along with the border city of Carlisle and Hadrians Wall.

There is strong use of the area with cyclists due to the location of the Reivers route 10 and the National Cycle network route 7 both of which run straight past Thornfield Camping Cabins along with the Cumbria Way walk. Run by Karen and Andrew, who along with their staff aim to provide you with a warm welcome and pleasant stay.

We offer 4 luxury high quality, affordable and warm all year-round cabins with home from home comforts, in a tranquil rural setting. This is a real back to nature holiday experience surrounded by extensive rural views, woodlands, walks and a range of wildlife.

COOKED BREAKFASTS TO YOUR DOOR The Woodside Welcome
The “Woodside Welcome” is provided by Mike and Debbie, a neighbouring business offering quality cooked breakfasts with locally sourced produce brought to your door including English Bacon Rolls, The Ultimate Woodside Country Roll and Quality Tea and Coffees.

PRICES
￡75 per cabin per night (minimum charge based on 2 people sharing)
Additional guests at ￡10 per night up to a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children (of primary school age) per cabin
Children up to the age of 11 stay for free
Minimum stay of 2 nights from Friday – Sunday
10% discount on a bookings of 7 nights or more
For those staying for two nights or more main bedding will be provided including duvet and pillows with covers along with a towel pack
Crockery (cereal bowls, plates, mugs, glasses, cutlery, can/bottle opener – no pans) sufficient for 4 people
Dogs ￡7.50 per stay per dog (maximum of 2)
Car parking free for the duration of your stay (One vehicle per cabin). Additional vehicles by arrangement only and at a charge of ￡5.00

ONE NIGHT STAYS
One night stays are allowed on weekdays (Monday-Thursday outside school holidays) but please note that no bedding is included
