Glamping at Trecombe Lakes is set in a magical woodland and lakeside location near Falmouth in Cornwall. Close to Helford River, Trecombe Lakes is the perfect idyllic setting for a tranquil and picturesque holiday. With wildlife a plenty, seven beautiful spring fed lakes to meander around, rope swings, row boats, and a natural woodland adventure playground, there is something to keep everyone happy. Try the woodland play area or take a stroll around our lakes and experience the tranquility and beauty of the great outdoors.

Trecombe Lakes is just five miles from the historic and vibrant town of Falmouth with its stunning beaches, quirky shops and great restaurants. Thel Helford river boasts ancient woodlands, hidden beaches, quaint pubs and the renowned valley gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah. Further afield you can find St Michael’s Mount, The Eden Project and the surfing beaches of the North Coast.

LODGE LIVING
The Lakeside Lodges are larger and modern in design with strong green credentials and style. They have a natural and stylish interior and are made from premium birch, The new lodges sleep up to 6 are nestled in around the lakes and with the environment in mind, will be raised off the ground on stilts so as not to impact our woodland and wetland floor and include

Unlike other camping Pods where you have to bring all of your own gear, ours are kitted out to a really high standard with everything you might need for a unique indoor and outdoor experience… Made from highly insulated and sustainable material, with double glazed windows and a small electric heater, our Pods are designed to be warm and cosy in the winter while keeping temperatures in check in the summer. It’s not a tardis but we have cleverly fitted….

• Funky little kitchen with electric hob, sink and fridge
• Neat little shower room with sink and toilet
• One double and two single beds
• All bedding, linen, bathroom towels (2 bath and 2 hand towels) and kitchen equipment are provided

Each pod has a decked area with seating, a Webber BBQ, and your very own fire pit where open fires and toasting marshmallow are obligatory!

WOODLAND PLAY AREA
A woodland play area with an upturned boat, climbing wall, tree house, climbing nets and rope swings should help keep the younger (and even the older) ones busy. For peace of mind the woodland play area and pods are fenced off from the lakes and are only accessible through a wooden gate.

LODGE HOUSE
Our lodge house provides a small communal area with a large fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a TV link to our barn owl, bat and bird box cameras as well as books, games and general information that all our guests are welcome to enjoy.

CREAM TEAS AND HAMPERS
Pre order a yummy Cornish cream tea or a delicious breakfast hamper and we will have it ready and waiting for you when you arrive at your Pod. All produce is locally sourced from the very best farm shops, bakeries and butchers.
