Woodovis Park in Devon offers glamping in camping pods in a small, safe and peaceful 5 star holiday park near to the ancient Stannary Market town of Tavistock nestled on the edge of the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a designated World Heritage Site. It’s ideally located for exploring the West Country, with endless places to visit and things to do on your holiday. We’re close to Dartmoor National Park and within easy reach of the UK’s most dramatic coastlines and beaches.

If you love the idea of camping but understandably want to keep dry and cosy and away from those creepy crawlies, then our cute Camping Pods and Super Pods are the answer. They’re the ideal place to build your own warm, snugly nest. Bring all of your normal gear but when you arrive you just move in straightaway. No time lost putting up or packing away a wet tent!

Live under big skies, see the stars, get back to nature. But there’s no need to stray too far from comfort: chocolate croissants for breakfast from our shop and a short stroll up the road to a superb local pub for dinner.

THE PODS
The pods at Woodovis are like a tiny house, which just happens to be in a beautiful park with easy access to everything. We currently have 1 Pod and 3 Super Pods. They’re proving to be very popular so please book early, especially for high season. Perfect for those who love the idea of camping, but love their comforts that little bit more.

Sorry although the park is very pet friendly, due to the size of the glamping pods we do not allow pets in any of our pods

THE POD – Sleeps 2 adults

• Inside measures 2.75m x 2.5m with good head room
• Relax on your own porched decking – there’s shelter to cook or just watch the world go by
• Small table & two chairs provided
• Keep warm and secure! The pod has a double glazed window and lockable French Doors and good insulation
• If the cold hits, just switch on your own heater
• There is an electric socket and lighting

SUPER PODS – Sleep 4 (2 adults, 2 small children max)

• Super Pods measure 3.35 m x 2.27 m with good head room
• Inside, there’s a table with two bench seats to sit 4. This converts into a double bed
• We can provide two additional camp beds if required
• Porched decking with table and two chairs for sitting, cooking and watching the world go by
• Stay snug with double glazing and insulated walls
• Heater, electric socket, lighting and a small TV
