Our Glamping safari tents in the Lake District at our peaceful Windermere site allow you to enjoy the National Park in all its glory. Glamping holidays at our Windermere Campsite are all about cosy furnishings and oodles of little luxuries. We’re talking proper beds, cooking facilities, hot showers, toilets and washing facilities. It’s a great place for families, especially as there is a large children’s play area in addition to plenty of conveniences. And there’s also a fabulous local called The Whistling Pig. Experience the rustic joy of camping with a generous bit of luxury. From your glamping headquarters, you can enjoy every piece of beautiful Cumbria with its sparkling waters and rolling hills. Just a short amble away is the Staveley, home of Hawkshead Brewery and a pretty village with shops, supermarket and pubs. There are a number of very good walks start from the village including trails to Potters Fell and Reston Scar.

With Ready Camp, there’s no need to fill the car with camping paraphernalia and ‘just in cases’. We provide a ready-prepped safari-style tent that’s packed to the rafters with creature comforts. We’re talking real beds and bedrooms, a dining area, mini kitchen, a comfy sofa… even a corkscrew!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING
All you need to bring is bedding, towels, tea towels, blankets if you wish for chilly nights, clothing and food.

The glamping campsite also offers hot showers, toilets and washing facilities, Wi-Fi and an on-site holiday manager.

LOCAL AREA
Head for the cobbles of nearby Kendal, Bowness-on-Windermere for the watersports and boat trips, and wow the kids at Aquarium of the Lakes. Take the chance to spend every waking minute in a place abundant in knock out scenery and National Trust woodland. The World of Beatrix Potter is a must if you want to meet the inspiration behind naughty Peter Rabbit. Discover Beatrix Potter country in all its wild and wonderful glory.
