Barnutopia offers luxury glamping and venue hire five miles west of Oswestry in Shropshire just outside the village of Llansilin, Powys. Situated on the England-Wales border, there are breath-taking views in every direction. With 4 yurts, 3 cabins, a bunkhouse and a stable, Barnutopia can accommodate up to 50 guests. Excellent amenities include 2 kitchens, a lovely bathroom block and refurbished barns. Guests looking to stay for a short break are more likely to find availability midweek (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed and Thu).

If you’re looking for a great place to host a hen weekend, birthday party, friends gathering or wedding. Venue hire is for up to 30, 30-60, 60-90 or 90-120 guests (residential and drop-in combined). The three barns licensed for wedding ceremonies make Barnutopia the perfect venue for couples who want rustic but not ramshackle. Most weekends are now booked up to a year or more ahead for weddings and events.

THE YURTS, CABINS, STABLE AND BUNKHOUSE
All glamping units are fully furnished with real beds, power, lighting, heating and free sitewide WiFi. Beds are made up ready to sleep in and electricity, campfires ang logs are included.

BUNKHOUSE BETHAN (sleeps up to 10)
Inspired by Alpine mountain huts. Dining table, seating area and 2 bunk platforms (4 over 6 single beds). 30 square metres.

YURT AXANA (sleeps up to 8)
Our largest yurt. Two curved sofas provide a seating area. Guests sleep in a king-size bed and 2 triple bunks (single over double beds). 39 square metres.

RANCH HOUSE RAY (sleeps up to 6)
With a double bed, bunk bed, double sofa bed and single sofa bed. When not in use the sofa beds provide a seating area. Has its own veranda and corner seat overlooking the yurt field and the Gyrn Moelfre mountain in Powys. 16 square metres.

YURT BRONWYN (sleeps up to 6)
A spacious yurt with a king-size bed, bunk bed and double sofa bed. When not in use the sofa bed provided a seating area. 20 square metres.

YURT CARIANNE (sleeps up to 4)
Perfect for a couple or small family with a small double bed and bunk bed. 14 square metres.

YURT NANNY IRIS (sleeps up to 4)
Another smaller unit for a couple or small family. Furnished with a triple bunk (single over small double) and single bed. 14 square metres.

CABIN CONNIE (sleeps up to 4)
The last of our 4-man units. Sleeps guests comfortably in a triple bunk (single over double) and a single bed. 10 square metres.

STABLE STEPHANIE (sleeps up to 5)
Close to the kitchen shack and nearest to the bathroom block, this is the best unit for elderly relatives coming to your celebration weekend. Has a king-size bed and a double sofa bed. 15 square metres.

TINY HOUSE TAMISE (sleeps up to 3)
Our most recent addition. Near to bunkhouse Bethan if parents fancy having their own space while kids take over the bunkhouse. Furnished with a small double bed and a single overhead bunk. 8 square metres.

LEAN-TO-LEO (sleeps up to 3)
Lean-to Leo sleeps up to 3 guests in a small double bed and an overhead single bunk. Leo sits on the end of the stable block.

CAMPSITE
Barnutopia’s campsite is just across the lane from the main glamping site. Grass pitches with no electric hook-up but guests have access to the well-equipped kitchen shack and the bathroom block. Campfires are permitted if grass is not damaged, and logs may be purchased from the farmhouse.

BATHROOM BLOCK
Our heated bathroom block has ladies, gents, wheelchair access and showers (3 showers, 5 toilets and 2 urinals). Unlimited hot water and there are NO press buttons on the showers.

DUTCH BARN
A fabulous indoor/outdoor space that’s great for campfires when the weather is poor. The party doesn’t have to stop.

EVENT BARN (aka Long Barn)
Previously a cattle barn and before that an army hut at a different location, the long barn is a fantastic space for large or small parties.
