Award winning Kits Coty Glamping is a small family run site in Aylesford, Kent nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our Shepherds Hut, Bell Tents and Festival Tent are perfect for short breaks, romantic getaways or longer self-catering holidays in the Kent countryside. Our glamping is located close to Kits Coty House (English Natural Heritage Site) in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the picturesque North Downs. The ideal location for glamping between Maidstone and Chatham within 40 minutes of both London and the Kent Coast. Numerous tourist attractions such as Leeds Castle and Chatham Dockyard are within easy reach providing plenty of fun activities to fill your days. Alternatively just chilling out enjoying your luxury accommodation and surroundings can be order of the day.

Glamping or glamourous camping has become very popular in recent years with participants escaping towns and cities to enjoy the countryside in high end camping type accommodation but with all their home comforts included. Here at Kits Coty Glamping we aim to offer exactly that. Whether you stay in our quirky themed Shepherd’s Hut or decide to get closer to nature in our tented facilities, you will be assured of a warm welcome, a warm bed and experience a truly unforgettable and extremely cosy night under the stars. WOODLAND CABIN – two adults and up to two children (12 and under)
Gretel is our enchanted woodland themed cabin perfect for families with small children and couples alike. She is decorated with flowers, ivy, fairies and magical spells and includes

• King size bed hand carved from a single tree trunk
• Crisp white linens and cosy blankets
• Magical Children’s bunk beds with night light and USB charging point

WI-Fi is also provided free of charge. The addition of an electric storage heater and hot water bottles ensure you will remain cosy during your stay with us.

You are also provided with

• Barbeque
• Cooking rings
• Pots and pans and all the other bits and pieces you require for preparing your meals
• Picnic table
• Fire pit so you can cook or enjoy a fire in the evening while watching the sunset over the North Downs

A covered communal cooking area is provided for cooking in inclement weather

The outside is just as enchanting with toadstool seating, ornaments and fairy lights. Around the fire, torches, lanterns and candles are the order of the day allowing you to feel like you have stepped into a fairy tale.

FACILITIES
Gretel benefits from her own toilet facilities located in a small room accessed from the rear of the cabin. The shower cabin is tucked into the edge of the site. Here you will find a hot shower, sink and additional toilet facilities together with washing up area and a freezer for keeping your ice packs frozen. This area also benefits from a kettle, toaster and microwave oven for general use.

SHEPHERDS HUT – Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child

Pamela is our traditionally built shepherds hut similar to those commonly seen in the Kent countryside in bygone days. She is a vintage Inspired hut themed with shabby chic furnishings and soft pastel shades.

MARRAKESH BELL TENT – Sleeps 4
Our lavish Moroccan themed bell tent, lovingly decorated with bold coloured rugs, striking fabrics, cushions, throws and lanterns.

Our safari themed Bell Tent inspired by our African travels. She is decorated with dark woods, crisp white linens and subtle hints of Africa.

FESTIVAL BELL TENT – Sleeps 6
Our funky 7 metre Festival Tent is full of bright and colourful furnishings, roll out beds, bean bags and plenty of bunting. Perfect for families and larger groups. This tent is bursting with character, fun, friendly and welcoming. Ideal for celebrating special events with your friends and family or just making the most of long hot summer days. This tent will bring out the hippy in you!

FACILITIES

THE SHOWER CABIN
The star of the show is our luxurious Shower Cabin where complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels await you. Two luxury wet rooms fitted with under floor heating, showers, toilets, basins and hair dryers are provided. The cabin also houses a washing up area containing two sinks, freezer (for your ice packs), microwave, kettle and toaster together with local information boards. Two brand new additional toilet facilities have also been provided for the season.

KITCHEN FACILITIES
Kitchen facilities include a picnic table, small gas ring, barbeque, microwave, toaster, freezer, cool box, crockery & serving dishes, cutlery, utensils, fire-extinguisher, pots & pans, glasses & mugs, kettle, kitchen towels, salt & pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, washing up liquid, cloths, general cleaning materials, etc.

COMMUNAL COOKING
A covered communal cooking area is provided for cooking in inclement weather. We also provide salt & pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, washing up liquid, cloths, general cleaning materials, etc.

THE SNUG
The Snug is our brand new communal indoor chill-out area with leather sofas, dining table & chairs, equipped with a selection of books & games for our guests to enjoy in all weathers! We have also included an outdoor fire-pit area for larger night-time gatherings.

The accommodation and facilities are for couples and families who enjoy real peace and quiet and a simpler way of life. As evening falls there are candles, fire pits and the night calls of wildlife to enjoy rather than television. Kits Coty Glamping is just an amazing and wonderful place to stay, where you will find peace and time to enjoy nature and each other.
