Lower Hill Campsite with Glamping offers yurts, luxury pods, bell tent, shepherd’s hut and safari tent now with Hot Tub. Lower Hill is a working livestock farm set in the beautiful hillside of Wenlock Edge in Shropshire. This family business nestles amongst the woods with the farm covering 230 acres of this beautiful and unspoilt county.

Located just ten minutes drive from the Ironbridge Gorge and twenty minutes drive from historic Shrewsbury, the farm is the ideal location from which to explore Shropshire. There is an excellent shopping centre with all the big names is close by at Telford and something nearby for the whole family.

FISHING POOLS
We have 5 pools available exclusively for our glampers and campers.
The Campsite Pool is situated by the farm house on the campsite.
The Wood Pool is situated at the lower part of the farm, ideal for more serious fishing.

The pool is well stocked with quite large carp, bream, tench, roach, gudgen, barbel and perch and open from 7.30am until dusk at ￡5 per day.
No night fishing or keep nets unless by prior arrangement.

THE FARM AND LOCAL AREA
On our Farm try some of our sausages or burgers for your barbecue and come and see our tiny piglets, cows, sheep and lambs. Beautiful countryside surrounds the site and it’s a real find for the walker – exploring the Long Mynd and the Cardingmill Valley.
