Macbeth’s Hillock is a glamping site in a historic setting. The site is located where Shakespeare’s Macbeth is said to have met with the three witches that told of his rise to King and then his future demise. Here at this idyllic historic meeting place we have 5 luxury en suite Glamping pods with all mod cons.

Macbeth’s Hillock is located right beside the border between Moray and Highland in Scotland. We are beside a small village called Brodie which is home to the magnificent National Trust property Brodie Castle as well as Brodie Countryfare retail and family restaurant.

Visited by tourists for hundreds of years, Macbeth’s Hillock has been in our family since 1928 as part of the family farm. In 2013 we built our house beside the Hillock and started our journey towards telling the story of Macbeth’s Hillock.

We are a peaceful rural location. Relax, unwind and spend time with family at our small site.

THE ANIMALS
We have a variety of hens and sheep with lambs skipping around the Hillock in the Spring.

LOCAL AREA
We are a great place to stay for exploring Moray, Inverness, Loch Ness, Aviemore and the Cairngorms. In brief we have Brodie Castle just a few miles from us as well as Cawdor Castle and Culloden Battlefield. Nairn, Findhorn and Burghead have beautiful beaches. The river Findhorn and Culbin Forest are great places for walking. Moray Speyside is also home to over half of Scotland’s Whisky Distilleries as well as breweries and gin distilleries. It is also home to Walkers Shortbread and Baxters.

We are a 30 minute drive from Inverness Airport and 2 Hours from Aberdeen Airport. We have train stations 5 miles away at Nairn or Forres.

There is a 10% discount if booking for 4 or more nights

All prices are per night and we have a 2 night minimum stay.

The pods come without linen and towels but these can be hired from us for ￡20 for a double set which includes Duvet, pillows and a bath and hand towel each, or ￡10 for a single set which is the same but with a single duvet instead of the double.
