Glamping at the lost Norfolk Brickyard is five minutes by car from one of the best beaches in the country, near Well-next-to-Sea and perfectly located at the heart of the North Norfolk coast and idyllically hidden from the crowds. We are also walking distance from Holkham Hall. This accommodation, as one glamper described it, is “Awesome”. If you want to go glamping in style, with space and privacy then we are the place for you. All our glamping and camping pitches have campfires and seclusion. You will not be sharing your morning coffee with strangers, unless you want to.

The site is very peaceful and relaxing. We often get stunning night skies as there is very little light pollution this far from built up areas. Some families choose to stay onsite and just hangout with the communal barn, the wild creatures and the peace and quiet. We love glamping and camping ourselves, any chance to get out under the stars. We try to provide the sort of camping experience we want when we look for a place. The Brickmaker’s Retreat is ideal for a small family, couple, romantic break or as a communal chill-out zone for group camping.

THE BRICKMAKERS RETREAT
Our Brickmaker’s Retreat safari tent is pitched on its own remote part of our lost Norfolk brickyard, with vehicle access and parking. The raised deck has a large porch at the front which keeps off the cold and the rain and is perfect for dining by candlelight. The campfire area outside is ideal for cooking, chilling with a beer and toasting marshmallows. The spacious 5m x 5m interior is fully furnished, has standing room all the way around and space for board games and relaxing. Fresh drinking water from a standpipe 30ft from the tent with a water station on the porch.
There is a new hot shower, kitchen sink with hot and cold ruining water, wash basin and flushing loo in a separate little canvas construction 20ft from the tent.

KEEPERS HIDE
Keeper’s Hide is located in the woods, on its own, in a remote part of our glapming site. The tent suits up to two families, with two kids each or 8 adults. The spacious interior is fully furnished. It has a wonderful Scandinavian wood burner, cabinets, tables and an amazing outside covered deck for dining. Like all our safari tents there is standing room all the way around as canvas partitions inside. The tent has plenty of space for board games and relaxing and includes

• Two double rooms at each end of the tent and four single beds upstairs
• Comfy leather sofa and coffee table
• Tables and chairs
• Chess board, giant dominoes and binoculars for stargazing
• Everything for cooking including a two ring gas burner and lights
• Crockery for eight
• Coffee and tea making facilities
• Cups, mugs, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, bread board etc.
• Cool box with frozen gel packs

Large 9m x 3.5m raised, covered deck and campfire with grill for camp cooking.

Hot new shower with wash basin and flushing loo are just a few yards from the tent in a separate structure. There is also a kitchen sink with hot and cold running water.

There is vehicle access and parking.

ABBOTTS REST
 Abbott’s rest is set in the most remote location on the site. Ideal for couples or families with two young children the spacious interior could also accommodate 4 adults and includes

• King-sized 4-poster bed and two futon mattresses that roll out from under the bed
• Kitchen facilities including
  Two ring gas burner, lights, crockery for four, coffee and tea making facilities, cups, mugs, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, bread board etc.
• Cool box with frozen gel packs
• Board games
• Tables
• Chairs

There is a large 3.5m x 5.5m raised, covered deck perfect for dining by candlelight and the campfire area outside is ideal for cooking, chilling with a beer and toasting marshmallows.

Hot new shower with wash basin and flushing loo are just a 40 yards from the tent in a separate structure. There is also a kitchen sink with hot and cold running water.
There is vehicle access and parking.

PLEASE BRING
Your own sleeping bags or other bedding suitable for the luxury, king-size and queen-sized beds and four single beds. Although the tent is cosy, the nights can be cold so you should bring extra blankets. Please bring all your own consumables e.g. loo roll, washing up liquid etc.

GLAMPSITE FACILITIES

There are two further beaches within ten minutes and this part of the North Norfolk Coast has many more. We are also in some of the most unspoilt British Countryside in England.
